A DATA VISUALIZATION OF YOUR YEAR'S RIDING HABITS

_YEAR WITH UBER 2016

Uber has become an everyday utility, its service taken for granted. To remind people of the role Uber plays in their lives, we told a simple, yet personal story about how they moved in 2016. 

A mobile-first experience was created, and WebGL was used, to turn riders' trip data into an engaging year-in-review experience. 

A personalized calling card and 'Rider type' was dynamically generated in real-time for them to share on social media at the end of their experience.

_YEAR WITH UBER 2017

The success of this pilot gave way to the following year's data-driven digital campaign; a true technological feat that launched in 11 markets.
